People Services provides six hours of class time focusing on personal safety.

This class is the pre-requisite for starting the Social-Sexual Education curriculum. 

Personal Safety Training can be taken as a stand-alone class, with no further classes, if desired. 

This class focuses on personal safety in your relationships. It teaches how to identify unsafe situations, and how to avoid them. This class teaches that there are all kinds of relationships and how we should respond to each type. 

This class also focuses on abuse, and the different types of abuse (e.g. physical; financial; emotional; etc.), personal space, and an individual’s right to say no.
